Evangeliska Fosterlands-Stiftelsen (EFS)
EFS is an evangelical Lutheran movement within the Church of Sweden, founded on 7 May 1856. With a rich history of mission work spanning over 160 years, EFS has been a faithful partner in spreading the Gospel and supporting theological education.
EFS began its foreign mission work in 1865 when they sent their first missionaries to East Africa. Today, EFS continues to partner with churches in Ethiopia, Eritrea, Tanzania, Malawi, and India, focusing on education, building relationships, and communicating the Gospel.
