Two Paths, One Goal: Growing in Christ
For many years, Theological Education by Extension (TEE) has helped Christians across the Southern Zone grow deeper in their faith and become stronger leaders in the church.
Today, we offer TEE in two different formats: TEE Classic (using printed books) and TEE Online (using your smartphone).
Important: Both paths lead to the same goal. The heart of the program does not change. The only difference is how you receive the lessons.
TEE Classic: Learning with Books
This is the traditional way of doing TEE that many of you already know and love.
In TEE Classic, you use a printed book. During the week you read the lessons at home by yourself, one a day. You think about the questions and write down your answers.
TEE Classic is a great choice if:
- You live in an area with no electricity or internet connection
- You do not own a smartphone
- You love holding a book and writing notes in the margins

TEE Online: Learning with Your Phone
This is our new, digital way of doing TEE. It uses technology to bring the lessons to you.
In TEE Online you read the same lesson that is in the book, but you get it on your phone: with pictures, with the lesson read aloud so you can listen while you read, and with questions you answer there and then and get an answer to straight away.
So you need to be able to read in TEE Online too. It is the same text as the book, and you read the questions yourself. The audio is a support — it does not replace reading.
TEE Online is a great choice if:
- You have a smartphone and can access the internet
- You want to listen to the lesson while you read it
- You enjoy interactive learning and getting instant feedback
The Most Important Part: The Group Meeting
This is the heart of TEE, and it is the same for both Classic and Online. TEE is not a program you do alone!

Your small group meets regularly: most groups every other week, some every week.
Discuss and Share
Discuss the questions from the lesson. Share what God has taught you.
Pray and Encourage
Pray for one another and encourage each other in faith and ministry.
